Going To The Store
Going to the store to pick up some items. Are you going to head down the snack aisle? You might like getting your favorite snacks like doritos or sour cream ruffles. There are so many snacks in the local grocery store.
Walking in the store just brings up more options. You might start remembering some of the items that you need. Do you have enough coffee and coffee mate? Do you have american cheese and butter? What about the veggies? You might be running low on onions and other items like garlic.
When you are buying stuff in the store, are you buying the brand name or the store brand? Sometimes, the store brand might be high quality and the price might do the trick. You might see the price for the store brand bread and it might be much lower than the big company brands that advertise on tv. You might have grown up looking at some of the commercials, but now, you might take a different option to save money.
Driving the shopping cart around the store could turn into some quick exercise. Before you know it, your cart is filled up and it is time to head out of the store. Are you going to use the self-checkout line or are you going to go to the regular cashier? At that moment, you look up and relise that there are not many regular cashiers anymore. Most of the checkout counters are self-checkout.
Shopping is changing and technology is making a difference. Even the self-checkout machines look like they have been recently updated. Swiping your cash back rewards credit card and making the purchase is quick. They have online shopping options, but for some reason, you still like the speed of just dropping into the store and getting your items. Will you start using the shopping app to order your stuff and get it delivered to your house? It could be a time saver to put your attention on other things on your to do list.
